Loved this song as a 10 -12 year old. Never would have guessed it came from (I guess we assumed at the time it must have come from the U.S. - probably Chicago ;). Had completely forgotten about it until I heard it the other day on the best radio station in the world: Radio Stad Den Haag (https://www.radiostaddenhaag.com for Disco, Funk, Hi-NRG, Italo Disco, Electro, Space Synth, Freestyle and more), or on FM 97.2 if you're in the neighbourhood of The Hague (Den Haag), in the Netherlands -
Edited 19 years ago‘Yellow Train’ is an incredibly mental track. One of those that makes you wonder what the hell they were doing back then to come up with something as far out. Horns, whistles, mad percussion and what sounds like the screeching of brakes make the track sound more like an out of control steam train than a Disco record.
