Those Guys – Tonite

What a track! The Basement Boys all the way for the win. Deep where it needs to be deep & diva where it needs to be diva. This one's a crowd grabber for sure.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this track (the A-side Colored Girls Mix) was from 1991. It aesthetically matches with music that's been currently hot in the past few years in clubs. It's 2024 now so that means that after some 30~35 years this track has become relevant again. I see this in line with the resurfacing of an interest for the 'Italian Dream House' genre.

I used to hear this song after hours on a radio station in San Francisco and San Jose in the early 1990’s and been asking for the record, but they never heard it, so thank you for finally having this great song.

Incredible track from an era when House music was clearly at it's most innovative, before record company marketing broke it up into little pieces..

Still gives me goosebumps and non-stop nodding of the head...One for the heads the original intro was taken from the OST-For Colored Girls ...rare but loaded with more goodies for sampling !!
