Deee-Lite – Dewdrops In The Garden

I randomly stumbled upon this pressing at a record store today where there was a single copy - I did not know that it was a color pressing because the previous 2018 color pressings were considered a rarity. Probably one of the most lively records in my collection - My speakers don't have the deepest bass in the world (still on the upper end though), but this vinyl uses the ABSOLUTE most out of it, that it felt like I was using a subwoofer. A very sweet and special treat for those that love downtempo and house. I unfortunately share the same qualms with previous reviewers that it's odd that the original inner sleeves are not present on this pressing compared to the 2018 and original 1994 pressings, but the sound quality and sound stage more than makes up for it. Buy this with confidence!

A really nice pressing with good dynamics, and the purple coloured vinyl is perfect for the artwork. My only gripe is the same as others have said, in that it doesn't have an insert. This has been put out by Get On Down, who also released it in 2018, and I don't think it had an insert then either. Nonetheless, this is a really good release and I'm glad I bought it.

FINALLY after being out of print since 2018, this amazing album was repressed. I received my copy to slight disappointment as it doesn’t a include printed insert like previous pressings. The color is beautiful and super groovy, and it sounds pretty good. Thankfully I could own this album without forking out $100+ for even just a repressing.

Disappointed there were no liner notes included. All other pressings had this. Just the 2 records were included. Clean pressing, no surface noise.

So glad to finally own this on vinyl! The record itself is more of a transparent purple with blue swirls. Different than the mockups indicated, but still looks great. Standard glossy jacket with white paper sleeves.

Pressing quality is great, at least on my copy. The bass is punchy, and the vocals are nice & clear (especially compared to other recent Deee Lite pressings, where they get a bit drowned out). Overall a very solid package!

Repress live on Get On Down. Don’t sleep, looks like copies are flying.

Price has really jumped on this. If anyone knows of copies closer to the median selling price of just under $50, please ping me.

why is this so expensive still!?Been looking for a copy to DJ with for ages--any playable condition! If anyone knows of any used copies or represses please let me know

Mine came with a black and white double-sided insert despite other comments >shrug< maybe missing from some?

wasn't expecting much out of this pressing where audio quality is concerned... but was pleasantly surprised. it sounded great on my system. the lack of inserts is disappointing; however, for the price I paid, I'm ultimately satisfied with this acting as an acceptable place-holder. [needless to say: this album is fantastic.]
