The Hunted Child is an absolute banger and deserved to be the A-side

Great press this, you can really hear the highs' lows' and mids' come through on their own mastered and well-balanced levels. The acapella is also smooth and clear of background noise like you find on some records of this style.

Ice-T was not only a good artist, but a smart one as well. I'm not gonna lie, I still got this cover on the wall, front and back! I'm quite sure Ice-T knew with a cover like this, he was going to sell that many more records. But the jacket aside, the record is nice! Ice-T picked 3 of the better tracks from his second LP "Power". But thats the thing about Ice-T being a smart artist. By having 3 different songs, many rap fans were bound to enjoy the record one way or another. Ice-T was not my favorite rapper, but I always bought his records, and enjoyed them alot. This one was no exeption! Personally, I liked "High Rollers" the best here, and my only beef with this record was no instrumental or dub for that track. Back then, I never played this record while actually DJ'ing a party or in the clubs, but I did hear "The Hunted Child" instrumental a few times in the clubs. The DJ actually pulled it off too. That track did have the right tempo for club play. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this record, but if found for the right price, I do suggest you buy it!
