Following a major cut down the chains remaining 8 stores were taken over by Elgiganten.

Please be aware that FONA used to mark all music media with their name sticker. These retailer stickers does not give FONA any LCCN role.
Label activities in the 60's and 70's, mainly jazz and classical. FONA had a classical records club in the 60's. In the early 70's also distributor. Acquired by Electric & Musical Industries Ltd. (EMI) in Jan 1971.
