ASDA

Trading name of Asda Stores Ltd, a British supermarket retailer.

The company was founded in 1949 as Associated Dairies Ltd in Yorkshire. Since then, the company has gone though numerous mergers and was wholly owned division of the US based Walmart group from 1999 until 2020, when they were bought over by a British consortium.

Asda has sold physical releases on CD and vinyl as an Exclusive Retailer, often in conjunction with Walmart in the USA.
