World Village

World Village is a label originally created for world music repertoire by the American subsidiary of the French classical music label and distribution company, Harmonia Mundi.
Titles were released on World Village by the American, French, Spanish and British offices of Harmonia Mundi. The basic rule of thumb for Country identification is as follows:
Catalogue number beginning with 450 is U.K., 458 and 468 is USA, 470 and 479 is , 498 is Spain. Some numbers were given a WV prefix and later a WVF prefix was used by HM .
No matter which country of origin, all releases belong to World Village.
