Pure Gold (2)

Pure Gold (2) is an international Pure Gold Series, which is exclusively Canadian. (Canadian issues of US "Best Buy" albums often featured the yellow RCA label: a characteristic of the Pure Gold album series in both countries, as well as others.)

In the US, the catalog number prefixes ANL1/ANS1/ANK1-XXXX ALWAYS identify a Pure Gold release.

Pure Gold (2) is in many ways similar to the Canadian sister series: it also launched in 1975 and uses similar typography. However, it is international and lacks the "Series" suffix. Some releases use the album title "Pure Gold", in a font similar to the series logo, instead of the series logo itself.
