S.I.S. Studios

British recording studio located in Northampton, England. Known for recording Dark (8) - Dark Round The Edges.

Also referred to as S.I.S. (Sound Equipment) Ltd. and S.I.S. Recording Studio LTD. and Sound Incorporated Systems.
The studio became known as this following the first recording of DARK (Steve Giles) on April 25th 1970, having previously been the Northampton Amateur Film Society and then Air Technique Broadcast Productions in late 1975/early 1976.
By May of 1976, Steve Giles had taken over the premises as his own recording studio until 1980.
Shortly after that, that and neighbouring (including a disused abattoir) properties were demolished to make way for new housing.
