This label is absolutely brilliant and never fails to impress. There are only a handful of labels like this from the hardcore era where the people involved actually let themselves be creative. Although the earlier releases were harder and more fast gabba than anything else, they were still experimental.
The parent label contains music that they knew would sell and this is why they have subsidiary labels, so the dj's can let their creative sides be shown. If you take time out to actually listen to the songs you will find that they are like unfinished projects, and even though it seems that they were jumping on the bandwagons and going with the trends, they weren't. Most songs jump from one thing to another from beats and riffs to cheesy vocals to dark stabs. And as sad as it seems a classic version of Turn Around that is still as fresh today as it was all those years ago.
If you intend buying any of these do so as whatever number you get you will be extremely satisfied with the sheer quality of production, rigidness of the covers and the thickness of the vinyl itself. Basically all releases were on the same agenda as the music contained (built to last).

Edited 19 years agoLike Forze Records was basicly founded as Sublabel of Rotterdam Records to release more the Happy influenced Stuff, Terror Traxx was used for the harder and faster Releases. But with the Time more and more Happy and nowadays also "normal" Mainstyle Hardcore is released on this Label, so you can't hear nowadays any differences to the parent Label Rotterdam Records anymore.
The first 42nd release where all released in a standart purple Cover. After it the label starts up with yellow coloured Covers till the Release Number 51. The Terror Traxx 052 is the first Release that comes in an individuell Cover named with Artist and Titel on it.
Just the following releases came in a special non-standart Cover:
Terror Traxx 009 (Various> "Shoop" There It Is..... The Terror Traxx Sampler Volume One) and TT028R ( Bodylotion > Always Hardcore Remixes).
Terror Traxx 050a , 050b and 050c has been released as Picture Discs.
