Universal Mastering can be identified through the specific matrix pattern UMaa-bbbb.
aa = two digits indicating a year in the Buddhist calendar. (1999 = 42, 2009 = 52, 2019 = 62, and so on)
bbbb = unique id, possibly a production number.

The mastering SID code often used by this facility is LK29.

How to credit Universal Mastering:
- Use role 'Glass Mastered At'
- Enter UMaa-bbbb as catalog number

UM is often seen in conjunction with:
- DDA, DDV, DDVA, DDR or DDRX. In that case add a 'Pressed By' credit for Dyntec Disc.
- MELONDISC. In that case add a 'Manufactured By' credit for Melon Disc.
