Monitor Collectors Series

Budget series established by Monitor Records (2) in 1966. Do not confuse this with early (~1956-1965) releases from Monitor which used the MC prefix as well. Some of the early releases were reissued in the Collectors Series.

In addition to the "Collectors Series" please also cite Monitor Records (2) as the primary label. Two parallel series have many gaps appearing in only one or the other catalog, but not both.

The series is denoted by an MC (MCS for stereo) prefix, with a 4 digit catalog number as well as an emblem on the sleeve/label.
