Icon is a series of compilation albums released by Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), the catalog division of Universal Music Group (UMG). The series collects "the greatest hits, signature tunes and fan favorites of the most popular artists in music history" with each album containing twelve tracks from the back catalogs of UMG artists. This replaced, in the USA the "20th Century Masters" series of compilation albums.

    Most of the ICON releases are brand new complications. the "KISS: ICON" release is a re-release of "20th Century Masters – The Millennium Collection: The Best of Kiss", and the "Bon Jovi: ICON-Cross road" is a re-issue of "Bovi: Cross Road"
