Founded by Sid Maurer in October 1972.

Distribution changed several times:
- 1972-1973 ; Stereo Dimension Records
- 1974-1975 : Scepter Records, Inc.
- 1976-1978 : United Artists Music And Records Group, Inc.
- 1978-1979 : RCA Records

The post-1976 releases of the company's longest-serving stars Kelly Marie.

The label's stars included funk/disco band Shirley Caesar.

The label exists today as Roadshow Entertainment Group, leasing out its recordings for others to release.
