A label that certainly played an important role in the push from Hardcore to DnB. Your thoughts on the kind of influence that made and the direction it took its sound in, probably leads to some heated debate among connoisseurs of the genre, but for what's worth, the labels legacy, which lasted over a decade, managed to a clear direction change that tracked the ever changing sound of the scene through the 90s whilst still always keeping that emphasis on dancefloor energy.
The dancefloor 'jump-up' sound is prominant throughout all the library from the earliest releases to the Ragga vibes of 94, Jumping 95, darker vibes and industrial techy sounds of 96-2000 through to the wobble 'clownstep' era of the early 00s and finally more Neuro edge around the mids 00s.

At the heart of almost of releases, Jason Ball, aka JB, Dead Dred, Swoosh and his many other alias's alongside common contributers such as Ultravibe, DJ Spice, Special K etc make up the majority of content though some guest appearances from the likes of Tech Itch are welcome additions.

Nestled in the library are a number of hits but for the most part the library performed the thankless task of being a servicable source of DJ fodder. Unfortunately time hasn't been especially kind, leaving the vast majority of releases timestampes of their era. Personally I think there's tunes still very much worth a listen in amongst the first 30 ot 40 releases but beyond that its slim pickings!

Really underrated label that pumped out some absolute classics especially 93-97. The label always had that classic sound to it even in the 2000s and it was always hammered on Kool FM Midlands. I'll always have a soft spot for JB & Spice productions and it's hard to pick many duff tunes especially during the 90s.
