The times I would be in a record stores and mention this label, most people would sort of snicker. I guess Jazz and jazz fusion fans might think the label is fairly soft and cheesy? But if you like new age or ambient and if you dig around you, will find some music you might. I am more on the ambient and new age side and there are quite a bit of enjoyable albums here to find. Mark Isham, Interior, Nightnoise, Tim Story, Paul Winter, Mark Egan,Michael Manring, Michael Hedges and more. Windham vinyl are really nice pressings as well. You have to love the inner sleeve and attention to detail. I would imagine there is some good good Jazz as well. I only have heard a few George Winston's. Winter and Autumn specifically. Overall, you have to respect a label who gone on for so long with so much music.
