Czechoslovak label founded in 1930 by Josef Bursík, Egon Bondy and Rudolf Hájek.
Esta was nationalized on 24 October 1945 (Beneš decrees - 100/1945 Sb.) and incorporated into a new company Gramofonové Závody, národní podnik based in Prague.
First title was released in 1930 with catalog# 100 (celuloid) and last title was released in 1946 with cat.n. 8525 (shellac).
The label “Esta” was reestablished by Mon Amour series.
