Carnival Records

1960s-1980s soul label from Newark, New Jersey.
Also appears as "Carnival Record Co."

Started in 1962 and was co-owned for the first half dozen releases by Paul Williams (9), however around 508 (1965) Joe Evans assumed overall control and moved the label out to New Jersey. "Carnival" had around sixty plus releases, some success and a legacy of some outstanding soul sides.
