Vin Records formed in 1955, They were a subsidiary of John Vincent's Ace Records, the Mississippi-based label behind a slew of New Orleans rock and R&B records.
Early artist recordings were done at Trumpet in Jackson, Mississippi & ACA Studio, Houston - followed by works at Cosimo Matassa's studio in New Orleans.
