April Musikverlag GmbH

German publishing company. Established in December 1964 (ed 11 February 1965) in Frankfurt/Main as a German subsidiary of CBS Schallplatten GmbH and part of the worldwide network of April Music publishing companies.
In 1967 the company was extended as a concert agency (April Musikverlag GmbH-Konzertbüro) for CBS artists appearing in .
First director until 1969 was Bernhard Mikulski.
Between March 1978 and June 1982 the headquarters were located in Hamburg but then returned to Frankfurt.
Renamed to CBS Songs Musikverlag GmbH in 1984.
