Founded in 1983 by Nigel Wright, Les McCutheon and Louis Parker. Label Management Anne Plaxton. Nigel Wright owned the studio in Chertsey, Surrey which was based at St Anne's Road. All Recordings were done at Skratch Studios, Chertsey, Surrey. Manufactured by Jack Adams (1983 - 1990) Manufactured and distributed by Pinnacle. The label was re-established in 1994 by Nigel Stock who self printed and distributed the last releases. After Pash 114 the label folded and no longer was issuing material. Some unreleased productions by Nigel Stock were later. reissued on Classic HI NRG Box Sets. ion Music is still trading and is now run by Ralph Tee. A Facebook page was setup in 2016 to dedicated fans.
