Duophone Unbreakable Record

Profile:

For records mentioning "Duophone Unbreakable Record" and which were released between 1926 and 1930, please use this label. Please see Duophone Record for related labels.

A rather eccentric record label with several different label names and a bewildering number of catalogue series produced by The Duophone Syndicate (63 Queen Victoria St, London) whose main product was a gramophone with dual soundboxes that supposedly enhanced sound quality.

The earliest record releases in October 1925 were on Duophone Record (both shellac and "unbreakable" pressings) and on the Duophone Unbreakable Record labels.
