Please add other possibilities to pay for customers than Paypal. There are lots of services that could be implemented, like stripe.
I am not willing to Paypal any longer and closed my Discogs store for now be removing Paypal.
I think it is very questionable, that Discogs forces sellers to use paypal. No choice at all, although simple bank transfer between seller and buyer should always be a possibility.

It's not "questionable", it's practical. Implementing multiple payment platforms would be expensive, so they only implemented one. They went with PayPal because it's widely used and allows them to automatically collect VAT (for international orders) and fees. Simple bank transfers aren't an option any longer due to regulations requiring Discogs to collect that VAT.
If you don't want to use PayPal, that's your prerogative, but it's highly unlikely there will be other options any time soon. I believe in some interview someone from Discogs stated they're planning to do that, but I wouldn't count on it.
Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin' ...no matter how many years you moan about it.
This battle was already lost 12 years ago when paypal verification became mandatory for sellers.
There are numerous payment services out there and i.e. Payrexx has also included Paypal. One service with multiple possibilities. They are out there. It is a matter of willing. I donot moan about it, I just close paypal and therefore Discogs unfortunately. But I do have a online shop that works ;) It is just a pitty, since I think Discogs is a cool thing, they loose a customer and in me.
