Almost certainly the second best album of all time. My A1/B2 copy sounds so much better than any of the higher numbered first issues with full textured sleeves or the later rereleases. Was it printed at a different plant. The sound is much richer to my ears anyway.

Just picked this up at a local store for decent price. Very very well done pressing imo. I'm going to compare it to the CB 2012 reissue but it was extremely bass heavy and dynamic. Throughly enjoyable pressing of such a great album. I also like the textured sleeve I feel it gives it an exotic look.

Vor 3 Jahren bearbeitetmy copy says 'manufactured in u.k.' with a v underneath and has a green and orange label. innersleeve is black text on white paper. doesnt look like the pictures on the first pressing here, but then those pictures say u.s. copy so i am confused ;)
can anyone clarify what the actual original press labels look like?

I didn't buy this album until 1977, it still had the silver printing on the logo and title, and the black lettering on the green inner sleeve, the only difference between my copy and the first pressing was the lack of textured cover which an older friend owned. whatever, it's still an amazing album and stands the test of time!

I own two separate 70's pressings of CTTE, the original US pressing (SD 7244) and a 1977 reissue (SD 19133). I thought it was interesting that the different pressings come with a different inner sleeve. The original US pressing has the lyrics in black text, while the reissue has the words in white text, both sharing the green background. I figured maybe they changed the color because the black is a bit hard to read with the green, but the white isn't much easier. If anyone has more information about all of this I'd love to learn about it!
