I *think* I am in the wrong place, but I need to confirm something because A. I might be losing my hearing and B. I might have a different version. My version has SHQ12 on the center stickers but the etchings are the same. My version (SHQ12) does not have any reviews, so I wanted to cross-check here first. Man, I sure hope there is a difference between because when I arrived here to leave a rather disappointing review, I read the comments and immediately started doubting myself. My version is incredibly muddy, flat (in a sound way), with no dynamism whatsoever. The soundstage is there, sort of, but certainly not wide, and there is no separation of instruments. It's when I realized that streaming is FAR BETTER than this pressing that I realized I have an issue- it sounds like someone draped my speakers with a wet blanket. FAR from being an "audiophile pressing".

Everyone involved knows what they are doing. The record is flat and absolutely noise free. The audio itself is up there with AP and Mo-FI records. An absolute joy to hear.

This is audiophile level which is great for this band! Great soundstage and presentation. I hope this is the direction this band goes with all their pressings.

This seems to be an audiophile type pressing. Cut at Sterling, tip on jacket , plated at RTI and pressed at Furnace. It's a big step up from the last live record. Not just the quality of pressing but the recording and performances are fantastic. Yes it's pricy, but worth it if your a big fan, otherwise just stream it.

Can someone explain this to me? Why is the first live drugs volume half the price for a very similar product and still widely available. Whereas the 2nd volume they jack price up massively and make it a limited run. I just feel SHQR seem to be screwing us over… regardless of how good it sounds

The tip on jacket is high quality. The poster is nice. The sleeves are very thin and it is a tight fit, so I just put my records in poly sleeves like usual and put the rest in the middle of the gatefold. I prefer this Live Drugs Again album over the first Live Drugs. Adams vocals are really good and Bob Dylan like. The version of “Burning”on this is also phenomenal. The lineup for this live album is fantastic. I’m happy I own a copy of this.

Definitely sounds good. But, yes, I agree with the others -- the gatefold jacket is too tight, and the static paper sleeves are cheap. And I too received black vinyl. The blue ones must've gone to the flippers. :)
