Has Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees from North Texas State University.
Studied Trombone with Leon Brown and Ashley Alexander and Improvisation with Rich Matteson
Current status: Professor of Music and Director of Jazz Studies at San Diego State University and a well-known studio jazz trombonist who has performed on hundreds of records films, TV shows and commercials.
