Producer Hue & Cry with the idea of re-recording some of Hue & Cry's songs as instrumentals for the US 'soft jazz' market. The album Stranger Things Have Happened was recorded in Glasgow in July 1995, with three new songs, "Let It All Go", "Beautiful Day" and "Little Miss Grace".
