Grew up in Camden, NJ. Known with the nickname Hippy. Died in February 1993 from complications associated with diabetes. Friends with Philadelphia International Records a lot of songs, such as mega hits "Don't Leave Me This Way" and "Me and Mrs. Jones" among others.
