Eirik W. Wangberg

Norwegian producer, sound engineer, musician, arranger, songwriter, studio designer, cover designer and author, born January 19, 1944. He is commonly known as "Eirik the Norwegian", a nickname given to him by Paul McCartney.

As a teenager, Wangberg was already a proficient multi-instrumentalist, playing in several bands in his native Norway. After completing his studies in mathematics and civil engineering (electronics) at the University of California in 1967, he trained as a sound engineer at Sound Labs, Hollywood across the street in 1971, Wangberg became manager and t owner of Sound Recorders until 1974.
