Marià Albero

Spanish singer, composer and guitarist. Born in Valencia in 1949, Marian Albero stage name used until around mid 1970s. He was one of the voices that from his land ed the movement of the Nova Cançó that emerged in Catalonia. Also active in the Ona Laietana (Onda Layetana) mouvement.
Tireless promoter and cultural activist, Marià Albero will work in different fronts of the show, the song, street theater and animation along a professional career marked by an accentuated critical spirit not exempt of fine humor.
An artistic activity marked by enthusiasm and research work on the so-called root music, always outside the fashions and other servitudes of the world of entertainment and music.
There remains of him the figure of a committed and free musician who has projected his ion and curiosity in all the fields that he has traveled (ed away on May 12, 2013).
