A pioneer of soft sculpture, she is one of the founders of Pop Art in the 1960s and is well-known as the co-creator, with The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. She was 24 years old when she began working on “Sgt. Pepper,” a project that would earn her a Grammy in 1967.
