Born in 1971 and died on March 5, 2025, DJ Funk was a DJ and producer based in Chicago, United States. Key name in the Chicago scene for his contributions to House and Ghetto House, especially prolific on the label Dancemania and Funk Records, his own label. He was one of the artists honored by Daft Punk in the song 'Teachers'.
