Marts Gotalds Andrups

Profile:

Artist manager, musician and record label executive, born in London on 17 January 1965 to Latvian parents.
In his late teens Andrups created The Story So Far fanzine and, in 1980, recorded a Kinks cover as Jeremy Gluck.
In the early 1990s he worked at the TRIBAL America.
Further collaborations followed with Tribal America founder (and fellow I.R.S. employee) Rob Di Stefano.
Andrups met Roger Sanchez for the first time in the early 1990s:
"When he left Tribal, I told him that I had no rep in the UK and no manager, and together we dreamed up the whole way of creating my career."
Andrups went on to become Sanchez's first manager and together they ran Indeep Productions).
At the same time he managed The Brotherhood.
Died in London on 10 June 1995.
