Profile:

Tassos Diakoghiorghis was a Greek virtuoso santurist and music teacher. He also played violin, xylophone, and percussion. Born in 1924 in Maritsa, Rhodes, Greece - Died 12 March 2007 in Athens, Greece.
In 1954, he moved to Athens to participate at the Ορχήστρα Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής.
He collaborated with Mikis Theodorakis and other Greek composers and conductors, made recordings of music for theatre and cinema and gave many concerts in Greece and abroad.
He is regarded as one of the greatest Greek santurists of all time.
