I recently bought this CD from a legit online store, I received it today & it was a CD-R. I thought only Funkytowngrooves was doing MOD CD's. This was a Mercury release, very disappointed, I thought it was the original release. -
Edited 2 months agoGreat compilation and great mastering, at a time when the loudness wars had not become a thing, nor vinyl rips.
This the only place (to my knowledge) that you can find this previously unreleased mix of "Ladies Night", and might be one of the only officially released cd's to include Jimmy Spicer's "The Bubble Bunch".
And the full version of Love Unlimited Orchestra's "Strange Games And Things" is fantastic. This one really needs to be on a 12", preferably at 45RPM--It might be my favorite track of everything Barry & Gene did) -
