Edited one year agoFor me 'Controlling Transmission" is the definition of rave music as a genre. Why rave has never been acknowledge as being a musical genre? This is not hard trance, this is not hardcore, this is not happy hardcore, this is not acid, this is rave!
Yes bpm might be in hardcore range, happiness like in happy hardcore, floating like trance, use of the TB as in acid...wrap all that together and you get rave..constant octave changes, trippy like trance but fast as hardcore.....brilliant driving music for "auf die autobahn!" -
One of the most beautiful hardtrance creations of 1995 ! One of the greatest classics of the 1990s, the jewel of the label "Suck Me Plasma", composed by Detlef Hastik & Ralph Fritsch.
This single is an incendiary bomb, either by the fire of its ultra-fast BPM or by its fantastic hypnotic melody, the hardtrade icon revered by thousands of ravers in search of absolute ecstasy ! The magic lasts 7 minutes 30 on this version "Wave mix", it transports you in a whirlwind of dreams and emotions. -
Easily one of the best rave trance releases ever! Period. Very few tracks can complete with "Controlling Transmission" the piano loop is unforgettable. The ... "We are controling transmissions" sample makes feel being in a fast rollercoaster... classic.

I can just agree with elixir23. This is one of my absolute favorite tracks in the world. Just splendid. Makes me the good days of music.
